Our philanthropic and social responsibility efforts began in 2008 with a humble visit to Angren Boarding School in Uzbekistan, where we met the students and donated sporting equipment.
We returned to Angren Boarding School, where we brought "Wave Boards", a skateboard-type sporting equipment that combines fun with a full cardio-vascular workout. These boards have been proven to be an instrument to promote peer participation and fight childhood obesity.
Continuing our community efforts at Angren Boarding School in Uzbekistan, we donated and oversaw the construction of a children's playground to promote learning activity and play. The materials were ambitiously imported from China and although it took over 2 years to get through international customs, the delight on the childrens' faces when it was completed was well worth it.
Since 2010, our affiliate Equis, has invested into Asian rural communities targeting health, education and infrastructure. The programs focus on vulnerable parents and children to enhance family unity, health and education thereby building stronger family foundations. CSS was established to share Equis’ accumulated knowledge and relationships with Russia and Uzbekistan, and expand upon its programs in the Philippines.
Our journey in 2018 takes us to Russia where our CSS team members David, Peter, and Bruce meet with our counterpart Slava in Ryazan City, Russia. Our goal—to register a foreign funded charity foundation and establish our first community centre in Moscow, to then help change the lives of those in need.
We return once again to Uzbekistan, this time to set up the CSSF Representative Office to augment our commitment to charity and social responsibility. We also welcome new Uzbek members to our team!
CSS has recently registered our foreign funded charity in Russia. Our future office will be located in our soon to be purchased Community Centre, in Moscow with a team of locally employed full-time staff. Our Russian operations are currently seeking local partners and beneficiaries to assist CSS in the areas of Nutrition & Health, Education, Emergency Care, as well as Mentor & Motivate programmes.
CSS is currently in the process of setting up a foreign funded charity in Uzbekistan. Our future office will be in Tashkent with a team of locally employed full-time staff. Similar to our Russian operations, our Uzbekistan mission is to seek local partners and beneficiaries to assist CSS in the areas of Nutrition & Health, Education, Emergency Care, as well as Mentor & Motivate programmes.
In the Philippines, CSS is establishing a foreign branch office in Manila with full-time employed local staff. CSS works in the Philippines in partnership with the Australian based charity Operation Restore Hope (operationrestorehope.org) which was founded by Plastic Surgeon, Dr Darryl Hodgkinson.
